One of my favourite pieces for Carnival, the brief was simply to drive advocacy for the brand by highlighting key aspects of the experience; the activities, the service and the crew.
An interesting insight came up – 1 in 4 people on any cruise are crew, meaning a lot of friendships get made. But there is no way for cruisers to tell the crew how they feel about the experience after they’ve left.
I decided to reverse the brief and instead drive the love straight back to the crew members by interviewing passengers, then compiling their kind words into a surprise video for the key crew. There were emotions, laughter and some tears.
